"Rainbow" (from my album "Senses") is a useful song for teaching the order of the 7 colours we see. It also teaches WHY rainbows appear. This is a clip from the full song/video--click the link in my bio to see/hear it on my YT channel. 🌈 🎶 22 3

7-year-old: "This is you, with your guitar and all the kids singing with you." 38 6
One of the most important things we can teach children, right from the start, is that we are all connected. Connection can mean sharing a look, a sound, a word, a laugh...it's that moment when you know you feel the same thing together. When I teach, my goal is to connect, because it feels so good and it reminds us of our common purpose here--to achieve harmony. Music is the perfect way to accomplish that together. 44 4
"Dis is you, pwaying gitaw, and deese ah awwwww yo cuwuhs." 33 7
Music is a language that connects us all, whether we have lots of experience in life, or are brand new to the world...and the magic music creates. 34 5

The USA Song: Learn and Memorize all 50 States!

Looking for a USA Song to help kids learn and memorize all 50 States?

Look no further than my YouTube channel, “Music With Nancy”: “The USA Song” is a direct, to-the-point, no-nonsense song–the lyrics to this song are the names of all 50 States: From Maine to Alaska!

The colourful video, by animator and artist Brett Lamb, follows the map as each State is named in the song.

You might think that learning all 50 States is “too hard” for young children, but NEVER underestimate the power of a song (or of a child to learn information)!

Take a look at this little “star”, who really earns her “stripes” as an American (she’s from the East Coast)–as she rhymes off every single State, along with the song/video:

This song is used by kids of all ages–and I just love seeing the positive comments on my YouTube channel from students who use The USA song to “ace” their geography tests–and comments from teachers who tell me how much they appreciate having this song to help them teach their students the names of each State.
